TecSalud

Our story

About Us

Founded in 2017, TecSalud is a women-owned small business with a strong focus on designing practical and sustainable digital equity and social impact growth strategies for partners of all shapes and sizes. Our work extends to various sectors, which include health, social impact, government, and community advocacy across Latin America, the Caribbean, and the United States.

Our core belief is that technology for social good should not be complicated, costly or overwhelming. Our efforts are towards creating a holistic approach to bridge the digital divide in  marginalized communities and leverage digital tools to gather and share evidence of positive contribution.

We also offer multi-channel BizDev and strategic planning advisory services to organizations seeking global expertise in how to be thoughtful and intentional about growing. Our team of consultants have decades of experience in foundation, federal, state, and international development channels.

We look forward to implementing innovative solutions alongside our partners in order to create a better, more just world for everyone.

Our Vision

We exist to bridge divides and unlock opportunities by not only creating innovative digital strategies, but working with our partners to recognize that ‘going digital’ isn’t always the solution. We have a steadfast commitment to social impact, and recognize the risks of creating disparity when introducting technology. We strive to mitigate this risk through defining users as everyone who may touch what we create, and involving them in our processes. Engaging focus groups, rigorous user testing, trial and error, continuous feedback loops and local expert involvement are some of our methods.

Our Mission

At Tecsalud, we are on a mission to create digital strategies for equitable access to information and leverage the power of human centered design to ensure everyone has the capacity to fully participate in the digital world. We advise clients on equitable and inclusive digital transformation prectice that are rooted in community, collaboration, and innovation so that together we are building a more just future.
